SIMONEAU, ADELE - (416 -ENGLISH)
Towards 1921, Adèle Simoneau, wife of Ferdinant Besner, worked for the Bear Creek region about six miles (10 km) east of Dawson City. She was a laundress for the Boyle Co., which was a dredging enterprise. During the years 1920-1930, the Besners settled in Mayo where Adèle continued to work as a laundress.
She died in Dawson City on June 26, 1955. A large group came to her funeral on the 29th of June.
