DAVID LORD
Born in 1869 in the county of L’Islet in the Province of Quebec, David Lord remained in the Dawson City region with his family for a number of years. From 1900 on this French-Canadian trapper lived in New Rampart House and Old Crow in the northern part of the Yukon. He was respected and liked by everyone he met; David Lord died in Dawson City on December 23, 1953 aged 84. A creek situated near Old Crow carries his name.
