TALBOT, ALBERT CHARLES - (344 - ENGLISH)
Albert Charles Talbot was surveying crown
lands when he created the first geographical map of the Kluane region while
working in 1890 for the minister of the Interior. A large bay in the extreme south-west of
Kluane Lake which was particularly calm and tranquil and which Talbot really
liked was named in his honor.
