GUITY, JOSEPH PAUL
IN1905-1906 Joseph Paul Guity was a clerk in the Emile Mohr store at Bonanza, a small village or hamlet about 12 miles (20 km ) from Dawson City. In 1907-1908 he was still in this area, but worked more or less as a miner. Then in 1909-1912, he was a clerk in a store for men’s wear at J. C. Griffiths in Dawson City. In 1915-1916 he was still a salesman but this time at M.A. Pinska. During this same era Joseph Paul Guity was also one of the members elected to the Territorial Council. From 1923- to about 1943, he was the owner of the Royal Alexandra Hotel in Dawson City.
