From Montréal to Edmonton:
On the 14th of May at about 9:00 or 9:30, Father Giroux, was busy at Windsor Station, busy at the departure preparations for the future settlers whowere to accompany him. He wanted to have all ofthem close to him in one coach of part of coach, especially reserved. The reservation was also for those who would join him on the same train, between Montral and Winnipeg.
Oliva Sabourin and Alfred Roy were the first to arrive at Windsor Station. One after another, the rest appeared: Charles Dupuis and his wife, Vezina Gamache, Pierre Arcand, two brothers Hamelin and Misael Giroux. A
